Malta es un pequeño país perteneciente a la Unión Europea que no tiene igual. Compuesto por un archipiélago, y situado al sur del mar Mediterráneo, esa nación hace frontera con Italia, Túnez y Libia. Después de haber sido disputado por varias naciones, en 1964 Malta fue declarada como una nación independiente y en 2004 se integró a la Unión Europea.
